Colloquium on Advanced Materials

by the Centre for Advanced Materials and the InnovationLab

Beginning in the winter term 2014/15, the Colloquium of Advanced Materials by the Centre for Advanced Materials and the Innovation Lab (former "CAM Colloquium") is intended as a series of talks dedicated to the field of Organic and Molecular Electronics.

The colloquium will present internal and external speakers from the fields of physics, chemistry, physical chemistry and modelling on the topic of Organic Electronics.

The topics of the talks will range from the electronic properties of molecules and organic materials, materials synthesis and fundamental electronic processes in “soft matter” to issues of device performance and fabrication.

Proposals for speakers, comments and suggestions are highly desired and should be sent to Dr. Christian Melzer (Christian.melzer@kip.uni-heidelberg.de), the coordinator of the colloquium. The project will be run in cooperation with the InnovationLab.

The project is intended to further promote the formation of a scientific community around CAM and InnovationLab, including physics, chemistry, physical chemistry and, last but not least, modelling. Please bring along students and coworkers as well!
